Matt Lauer in Tehran
about 5 minutes
Part 2: Iranian Women
Part 3 Part 4

I am never that impressed with these documentaries. They rarely go beyond some cliché, but amidst the general dis-misrepresentations (sic), I guess I should post these.

And meet the Pedestrian and her side-walk-lyrics 🙂

Matt Lauer is such a boob… but he gets an A for bothering to check it out. And wonder of wonders! He just got it on very mainstream media that Ahmadinejad was mistranslated. That’s huge.

I laughed… I barked… when they said your “Brad Pitt” can’t be on billboards because it would be too arousing! It’s making me laugh again! He must have an ego the size of Jupiter!

    Agh! I’m laughing again! 😛

I second 99, it’s really unbelievable to see recognition of the mistranslation on such a mainstream venue. And, while I agree that the spot is mostly cliché, still some fascinating images. The discussion on Youtube, I noticed, was less than inspiring.

I wasn’t aware of an improvement in the translation services. Thanks for this info. It seems that the exaggerations and inaccuracies … are quite remarkable… since a while.
