    This is terrific. I listen to Ira Glass’ show on NPR all the time, but missed this one. I’ve never watched his PBS show, because I don’t have TV and because I just couldn’t imagine how his show could be improved visually.

    Well, it can’t. It’s just different. In a way, I prefer the radio more, because I can get more into my head and into my heart while listening. But I think that with the teeming masses, a visual component is essential. Otherwise, they simply won’t experience it.
